1. Who we are: This website is run by Mindstar Rising Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12296083.  You can reach us at aaron@mindstarrising.com

2. These terms apply to every order you place with us through mindstarrising.com, by email or through social media. Please read them before ordering. If you are buying as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3. Our products: We design and 3D print products in Cumbria. We sell two kinds of products:

• Standard Products: items listed in our shop in the sizes, colours and options we offer.

• Custom Products: items designed, modified, or printed to your specifications, measurements, files, or brief.

3D printing builds each item layer by layer. Small visible layer lines, minor colour variation between filament batches and tiny surface marks are normal and are not faults. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the finished item. Measurements are approximate to within ±0.5 mm unless we agree a tighter tolerance in writing.

 

4. Placing an order: Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we email you an order confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price was listed wrongly. If we do, we will refund you in full.

 

5. Custom orders

• We will confirm the design, dimensions, material, colour, price and lead time in writing (by email) before we start. Printing starts only when you approve.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of any measurements, drawings or files you give us. We will not be responsible for items that fit poorly because the information supplied was wrong.

• By sending us a design, image, logo or file, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it. We will not reproduce copyrighted characters, brand logos or other third-party designs without the owner's permission.

• We may ask for a deposit of [CHECK: 50%] before printing. Custom Products cannot be cancelled once printing has started (see our Returns & Refunds Policy), but they are still covered if they are faulty or not as agreed.

• Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we keep the rights to any digital design files we create. You own the physical item.

 

6. Design services: If we provide a design-only service (for example, CAD modelling with no printed item), you have 14 days from booking to cancel. If you ask us to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you will pay for the work done up to that point.

 

7. Prices and payment: Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout. We take payment when you place your order through our secure payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

 

8. Delivery: See our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to someone you nominate. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.

 

9. Returns, refunds and faulty items. See our Returns & Refunds Policy.

 

10. Our responsibility to you: If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable. We are not liable for business losses (lost profit, lost business or business interruption) where you buy as a consumer. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer. Please use our products as described in our Product Safety & Materials notice.

 

11. Business customers: If you buy for business purposes, the consumer cancellation rights in our Returns & Refunds Policy do not apply. Our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the products concerned.

 

12. Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier failures, severe weather or supplier shortages. We will tell you promptly, and you may cancel for a full refund if the delay is significant.

 

13. Complaints: If something isn't right, email aaron@mindstarrising.com. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

 

14. Law: These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
